"When in doubt, squeeze it out!" That is the mantra of Debbie Stieferman, creator of The Squeeze Aromatherapy Dough. After losing mobility in her right hand from a large tumor, Debbie had to undergo several surgeries followed by physical therapy. She spent many hours squeezing putty at the physical therapy center that was light blue and medicinal grade - very boring.
Having experience with scentology as well as baking, Debbie set out to create a therapy tool fit for the hand as well as the mind and spirit. Thus Squeeze Aromatherapy Dough came to be - an amazingly soft yet firm and aromatic tool for your hand.
Featuring 100% pure essential oils, this portable little stress tool is the perfectly packaged dough. As Debbie says, "You can't bring your diffuser with you when you leave the house, but you need a little aromatherapy at all times!"
Debbie is truly an example of how something wonderful can come out of difficulty. As she says, "Having this hand impairment has had its limitations, but it has brought my favorite creation to life." Her hope is that "The Squeeze" becomes the main squeeze for everyone, just as it has for her.
Why We Love this dough: We've been looking for a line of squeeze dough to feature in our store for a long time. While there are others out there, none of them seemed to fit with our commitment of bringing the most uplifting products to you. We believe scent is powerful so when we found Debbie's product and smelled it for the first time we knew we'd found the perfect squeeze dough. The scents are strong without being overpowering and there is no residue left on your hands. Squeezing this dough while inhaling its scent is heavenly! This is a great item to keep on your desk or near your favorite chair for those times when you want to keep your hands occupied or are feeling a bit anxious. We agree with Debbie - when in doubt, squeeze it out!
